KPJ Pahang Specialist Hospital is the second hospital in East Coast under the flagship of KPJ Healthcare Bhd. Its staff strength stands at over 400 employees supported by medical services provided by 30 resident medical and surgical Consultants specializing in various disciplines; Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, ENT, General Surgeon, Internal Medicine, Neurosurgeon, O&G, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics and Radiologist. To support the consultant practice, KPJ Pahang is also equipped with facilities such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, Cathlab / Angiogram, 64 Slice CT Scanner, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammogram (Stereotactic Biopsy), General X-Ray, Dialysis, Operating Theatre, Accident & Emergency Unit (24 hours), Physiotherapy, ICU/CCU. KPJ Pahang become one of the first private hospital in East Coast with Cathlab Facility able to perform angiogram, angioplasty and stenting.

KPJ Pahang has embarked into enhancing its information system with the introduction of KPJ Cloud computing that managed several sub systems, namely; Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS), Hospital Information System, Laboratory Information Management System, Clinical Information System and eHealth Records (KCIS), Tele Radiology. Cloud computing provides real time, high speed and efficient allowing Consultants to stay connected and accessible anywhere with other services.

KPJ Pahang adopted Hospital Information System (HITS), developed by KPJ information system team, able to integrate Accounting, Centralized Billing, Inventory, Pharmacy, Management and others. HITS is accessible by Wards, Ancillary departments, Pharmacy, Purchasing, Clinics and

Business Office. It is online and real time which allows data to be collected and analyzed on a timely basis, hence quality of data is ensured.HITS is operated under strict accessibility as to ensure its confidentiality and reliability despite being user friendly. HITS has complied with the

personal data protection principles under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
