Fasting blood glucose

This test tells you how much sugar you have circulating in your body. Higher sugar (glucose) predisposes you to diabetes. If this test is taken alongside a blood test for HbA1C – it can help to diagnose diabetes and prediabetes. It can also guide patients already on existing diabetes sugar-lowering medications.

AFP (alpha feto protein) helps diagnose and monitor treatment for certain cancers of the liver, ovaries or testicles. A raised value increases the likelihood of cancer. Early detection greatly improves response to treatment.
